Nordstrom is seeking a Beauty Counter Manager to deliver personalized beauty experiences and drive sales for the assigned brand. This role combines selling, teaching, customer relationship building, and counter management in a commissioned retail environment.

You will conduct makeup applications, skincare analyses, and product recommendations while meeting personal and counter sales goals using in-store and digital tools.

Qualifications

• Passion for beauty, customer service, trends, makeup application, and skincare.
• Strong customer connection, communication, multitasking, organization, and follow-through skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Ability to remain in continuous movement during shifts and lift items up to 25 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Conduct makeup applications and skincare analyses, and recommend products based on customers' goals.
• Set and achieve personal and counter sales goals using in-store and digital selling tools.
• Manage vendor events and promotions, and build strong vendor relationships.
• Maintain a welcoming, organized, customer-ready department and keep current on beauty trends and products.
• Process sales, refunds, and exchanges, and build customer loyalty through Nordstrom Rewards enrollment.
