You will manage events, cultivate vendor relationships, and keep the counter ready while staying current with beauty trends and product knowledge. This role offers a dynamic, commission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Passion for customer service and beauty, including trends, makeup application, and skincare.
• Excellent ability to connect with customers, proactively handle concerns and contribute to a positive team environment.
• Empathy and respect for all customers, providing a supportive environment during makeup and skincare applications.
• Strong multitasking, organization, and follow-through skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct makeup applications, skincare analyses and recommend products based on customer goals.
• Collaborate with team to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all customers.
• Set and achieve personal and counter sales goals using in-store and digital selling tools.
• Manage scheduling and execution of vendor events and promotions.
• Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to maximize business results.
• Keep department customer-ready through organization and cleanliness.
• Stay updated on beauty trends and products through trainings from Nordstrom and partners.
• Open new Nordstrom Rewards accounts to build customer loyalty.
