Job summary

Salt Digital Recruitment seeks a Business Development Lead to spearhead its U.S. expansion in the infrastructure sector. You will identify opportunities, establish relationships with DOTs and contractors, and drive bid activities to win contracts ranging from modest to multiyield opportunities.

You will report to the BD leadership and coordinate with teams in the UK to ensure successful ramp-up, with travel across the Eastern U.S. the norm.

Qualifications

• Experience in business development, sales, or bid management within infrastructure, construction, or road maintenance sectors.
• Familiarity with working with DOTs, local governments, or general contractors is a plus.
• Comfortable navigating a PE-backed company growth environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead BD efforts for U.S. expansion in high-friction surface treatments.
• Build relationships with DOTs, general contractors, and key industry stakeholders.
• Identify and pursue opportunities in public and private sectors.
• Represent the company at industry conferences (e.g., American Traffic Safety Association).
• Drive bid processes and manage tender orchestration.
• Collaborate with the UK team for smooth ramp-up and knowledge transfer.
