Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Junior Level Business Development Coordinator to support data entry and reporting for the Northeast U.S. geography. You will work with Business Development leadership to manage data in internal tools and help create professional documents and marketing materials.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in A/E/C, strong communication, and attention to detail. The role includes RFQ/RFP coordination, cross-team collaboration, and preparing internal reports and PowerPoint presentations.

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of experience, preferably in the Architectural, Engineering, or Construction industry.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including grammar, punctuation, spelling, and formatting preferred.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple, simultaneous projects, and work under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Searches for RFQ and RFPs on external digital eProcurement platforms, distributing them to internal stakeholders, managing and distributing addenda, and uploading documents.
• Enters and manages data in multiple tools and systems critical to sales processes and reporting requirements.
• Provides marketing support to geographic sales team by drafting project win or new hire announcements for publication on LinkedIn and Jacobs External Website.
• Helps coordinate and develop sales documents such as Task Order proposals, interfacing with project managers and design staff to deliver content on schedule.
• Reads complex documentation, synthesize the data to understand the big picture, and determine next actions and who to engage.
• Proofreads and edits technical and non-technical documents for accuracy and consistency.
• Assists leadership with gathering information for internal reports, developing timelines, tables, graphs, PowerPoint presentations, and meeting materials.
• Assists client account managers with preparing internal documentation, quotes, and updating resumes.
