Job summary

Join Cortica as a School Behavior Technician to provide 1:1 behavior support to students with autism in school settings. You’ll work with educators and Cortica’s clinical team to implement evidence-based strategies and track progress.

You’ll support student development in communication, social skills, and self-regulation, align with IEP goals, and collaborate during classroom observations and team meetings. Travel between campuses within the service area is required.

Qualifications

• At least one year of work experience in ABA / Behavior Technician roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel between work locations.
• First aid/CPR certification or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Execute BCAT certification responsibilities; obtain BCAT within 30 days where required.
• Provide direct holistic, neurodiversity-affirming ABA services in 1:1 and group school settings.
• Implement BIPs and skill acquisition programs aligned with IEP goals and school objectives.
• Collaborate with school teams to integrate behavioral strategies into daily classroom routines.
• Support student development in communication, social skills, and self-regulation; collect data during sessions.
• Complete timely documentation including session notes and incident reports; attend meetings.
