Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking a Site Manager for Battery Storage in Georgia. You will lead construction and startup of BESS scopes on a multi‑discipline project, directing the site team and coordinating with owner and subcontractors.

The role demands 5+ years in construction management on large projects, with 3+ years in superintendent level, plus a Bachelor’s degree. Travel and safety leadership are key to project success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience on similar projects in construction management with a Bachelor's degree.
• 8+ years experience with 3 years at superintendent level or above on large projects, or in construction management role on smaller projects without a Bachelor's degree.
• All applicants must be able to complete pre‑employment onboarding requirements (if selected).

Responsibilities

• Update and complete the Construction Execution Plan.
• Directs overall construction effort including coordination of equipment, labor, subcontractors, startup and testing.
• Directs implementation of project controls and safety procedures on site.
• Establishes site staffing and mentors team to ensure project success.
