Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or sufficient equivalent experience).
5+ years of construction management experience in utility-scale renewable energy, with strong exposure to BESS projects.
Direct experience managing BESS projects required.
Strong knowledge of civil and electrical construction practices.
Proven experience managing subcontractors and field crews.
Willingness to work on-site and travel as required.
Ability to travel to project sites as required.
Strong communication and people management skills.
Responsibilities
Lead all on-site construction activities for BESS projects including civil, electrical, delivery, turnover and balance-of-plant scopes.
Coordinate installation of battery enclosures/containers, racking systems, inverters, transformers, substations, SCADA, and associated systems.
Enforce all site safety programs and ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA 855, NEC, and local AHJ requirements.
Ensure construction is executed per approved IFC drawings, specifications, and manufacturer requirements.
Track daily, weekly, and monthly construction progress.
