Job summary

Overland Contracting Inc is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead the construction and start-up of battery energy storage system (BESS) projects. You will direct the on-site team, manage daily/weekly planning, and represent the company in interactions with the Owner and contractors, ensuring safety and quality are embedded in all activities.

Ideal candidates have extensive construction management experience on large projects, a Bachelor's degree, and a proven ability to manage budgets,

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience on similar projects in construction management role with a Bachelor's degree.
• 8+ years experience with 3 years at superintendent level or above on large projects, or in construction management role on smaller projects without a Bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for successful execution of the construction and start-up of battery energy storage system (BESS) construction scopes.
• Directs staff in the on-site daily/weekly planning process and site management activities.
• Coordinates with owner, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure budget, schedule and quality targets are met.
• Directs implementation of project safety, quality, and commissioning plans and ensures resources are provided for start-up and turnover.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field
