Job summary

Black & Veatch Family of Companies is seeking a Site Manager for a Battery Storage project in Georgia. You will lead on-site construction and start-up activities, directing the site team and coordinating with owners, contractors, and suppliers to ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

You will leverage extensive experience in construction management and knowledge of BESS or renewable energy to drive project success and deliverables on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience on similar projects in construction management is preferred
• 10+ years experience on similar projects in construction management role with a Bachelor's degree is preferred
• Experience with battery energy storage systems (BESS) or renewable energy projects is preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead successful construction and start-up of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) scopes on site
• Direct the site management team and interact with Owner and Contract representatives
• Manage safety, quality and schedule to meet project targets
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and subcontractors to implement the Construction Execution Plan
• Oversee cost control and change management processes on site
