Job summary

Overland Contracting Inc in the United States is seeking a senior field construction leader to deliver Substation and Battery Energy Storage System work. You will coordinate site teams, manage schedule execution, safety performance, cost control, and quality, traveling to project sites as required.

You will mentor craft supervisors, partner with EH&S, and develop staffing plans, while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction, engineering, or related field preferred, or relevant field experience.
• 10+ years construction supervision experience required.
• OSHA Training
• All applicants must be able to complete pre- employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead site construction teams with means, methods, staffing, and field support for Substation and BESS work.
• Partner with EH&S to develop safety programs tied to battery storage and substation construction.
• Identify staffing needs for craft and field leadership roles and support project proposals with staffing plans and cost estimates.
