Job summary

IS International seeks a seasoned Construction Project Manager for a Utility Scale Energy Storage Construction project in the Southwestern US. The role leads site installation and construction activities, collaborating with energy storage teams across the Americas and reporting to the Project Manager.

Requirements include a BS/BA in engineering, 10+ years of construction experience, and 6+ years in a supervisory construction management role.

Qualifications

BS/BA in engineering required.
10+ years of relevant construction experience.
6+ years as a construction manager with supervisory experience.
Strong leadership, collaboration and business acumen.
CCM certification is a plus.
Experience working in a matrixed and global organization.

Responsibilities

Lead construction site activities for battery storage projects until satisfactory completion.
Focus on Electrical, Civil and Mechanical work streams.
Provide leadership in construction planning and interfacing with the project manager to minimize risk and maximize performance.
Coordinate with client teams and internal project, engineering, commissioning and business administration.
Oversee contractors and sub-contractors to ensure quality and schedule adherence.
Ensure safety guidelines and requirements are followed on sites.
Evaluate construction methods for cost-effectiveness of plans.
Address on-site conditions, schedule delays, emergencies or other problems.
Will have a dedicated Site Scheduler reporting to them.
