Job summary

Jobot is seeking a BAS Project Manager in Columbus, OH to take full ownership of building automation projects from turnover to closeout. You will lead cross-functional teams, coordinate with clients and internal staff, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while maintaining safety standards.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in BAS, HVAC controls, or DDC systems, with strong budgets, schedules, and OSHA knowledge, plus proficiency in Office and scheduling tools.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Project Management experience in BAS, HVAC controls, or DDC systems.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems and controls installation.
• Experience managing budgets, schedules, and project financials.
• Familiarity with design/build and value engineering projects.
• Working knowledge of OSHA standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and scheduling software.

Responsibilities

• Manage building automation/DDC projects from turnover through closeout.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and internal teams.
• Oversee scheduling, manpower planning, procurement, and subcontractors.
• Control project budgets, labor productivity, and financial performance.
• Lead pre-construction planning and coordination meetings.
• Price and manage change orders.
• Ensure timely billing and accurate documentation.
• Maintain strong safety standards on all job sites.
