Jobot in Central Massachusetts is seeking a BAS Project Manager to lead building automation projects from kickoff to closeout. You will coordinate field technicians, programmers, and vendors, serving as the main customer contact throughout the lifecycle.

The role blends project management with technical problem‑solving, requiring hands‑on BAS experience and strong communication to ensure on‑time delivery and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in building automation, HVAC controls, or a related field.
• Hands‑on experience as a BAS Technician, Systems Specialist, Programmer, or Controls Engineer.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical, and controls drawings.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage building automation and controls projects from startup through closeout
• Coordinate field technicians, programmers, subcontractors, and vendors
• Serve as a primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle
• Review project drawings, specifications, and sequences of operation
• Track project schedules, budgets, and milestones
• Assist with system startup, commissioning, and troubleshooting as needed
• Coordinate project documentation, submittals, RFIs, and change orders
• Lead project meetings and provide regular status updates
• Support owner training and project turnover activities
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships
