Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Senior Building Automation Service Technician in Columbus, OH to troubleshoot, service, commission, and optimize commercial BAS/DDC systems. You will work on HVAC control projects, perform programming of sequences, and provide on-site and remote support, with opportunities for advancement within a growing team.

The role requires 3+ years in BAS/DDC, strong troubleshooting and programming skills, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Building Automation service experience.
• Strong troubleshooting, programming, startup and commissioning experience with commercial HVAC control systems.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair Building Automation (BAS/DDC) control systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, sensor calibration, and database backups.
• Program and adjust control sequences, schedules, setpoints, and system databases.
• Perform controller replacements, startups, commissioning, and system upgrades.
• Identify equipment or system issues and recommend corrective actions to improve performance.
• Provide onsite and remote technical support, including occasional after-hours service as needed.
• Complete service documentation and communicate project updates with customers and internal teams.
• Identify opportunities for system upgrades or additional services and collaborate with the sales team.
