Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Project Manager with HVAC automation experience to lead turnkey building automation projects in the Richmond, VA market. You will collaborate with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams from kickoff to closeout, ensuring on-time delivery and project success.

Candidates should have 5+ years in BAS/BMS or HVAC Controls project management, familiarity with major BAS platforms, and proficiency in MS Office (Excel and Project). Travel to job sites is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of BAS/BMS or HVAC Controls Project Management experience.
• Experience with Schneider Electric, Johnson Controls, Siemens, Automated Logic, Delta Controls, Distech, or Trane.
• Technical knowledge of commercial HVAC equipment (AHU, VAV, boilers, chillers).
• Ability to read design documents and control drawings.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Project.

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning, implementation, and execution.
• Collaborate with Engineering on project submittals and drawings.
• Manage project timeline, scheduling, and updates with the Project Management Team.
• Regularly monitor and report project progress to the assigned Senior Project Manager.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to the project team.
• Oversee commissioning and project closure, and maintain safety standards.
