Job summary

Divcon Controls is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support BAS/controls project coordination from installation through commissioning. You will assist in scheduling, documentation, and budget tracking while coordinating field activities and subcontractors under supervision.

The role serves as a stepping stone toward a full Project Manager position, with a focus on developing managerial skills and ensuring project success in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in construction, project coordination, or related field (BAS, MEP, HVAC preferred).
• Experience supporting project execution, documentation, or field coordination.
• Exposure to project scheduling or subcontractor coordination is a plus.
• Working knowledge of building automation systems or electrical systems preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills; able to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating day-to-day execution of BAS/controls projects to align with designs and schedules.
• Maintain project documentation, submittals, drawings, and specifications.
• Support budgeting, milestone tracking, and billing processes.
• Coordinate subcontractors and field technicians; monitor progress and site conditions.
• Contribute to project meetings and communicate risks and status to the PM.
