Job summary

Divcon is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support planning, coordination, and execution of building automation and controls projects from installation through turnover. You will help manage defined scopes under supervision and assist in budgets and schedules.

The role is a transitional step toward full project ownership, reporting to a Project Manager or Sr. Project Manager, with travel as needed and emphasis on documentation and field coordination.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in construction, project coordination, or related field (BAS, MEP, HVAC preferred).
• Experience supporting project execution, documentation, or field coordination.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day execution of BAS/controls projects under supervision, ensuring alignment with designs and schedules.
• Maintain and organize project documents, submittals, and drawings; assist in review of packages before field execution.
• Coordinate subcontractors and technicians for assigned scopes; track milestones, progress, and field changes.
• Support meetings, provide progress updates, manage customer expectations, and escalate risks promptly.
