Job summary

Divcon is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support BAS/controls projects from installation through commissioning. You will coordinate field activities, manage documentation, and assist with budgets and schedules under supervision. This is a transitional role toward full project ownership with travel and site visits required.

The role emphasizes coordination, communication with stakeholders, and maintaining accurate records in DivPro. OSHA 30 is required or provided within the first week.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in construction, project coordination, or related field (BAS, MEP, HVAC preferred).
• Experience supporting project execution, documentation, or field coordination.
• Exposure to scheduling, subcontractor coordination, or construction processes preferred.
• Working knowledge of building automation systems, HVAC controls, or electrical systems preferred.
• OSHA 30 certification obtained within the past two years or training provided within first week.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating day-to-day execution of BAS/controls projects to ensure alignment with designs, schedules, and customer requirements.
• Manage defined scopes of work or smaller projects under supervision.
• Support development and maintenance of project schedules and milestones.
• Maintain project documentation and assist with billing support data.
• Coordinate subcontractors and Controls Technicians for assigned scopes.
