Job summary

Divcon is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support building automation and controls projects from installation through commissioning and turnover. You will coordinate field activities, manage documentation, and assist with budgets and scheduling under supervision, preparing for future ownership of projects.

The role emphasizes organized coordination, communication, and hands-on involvement across BAS/MEP systems, with growth toward a full project management role.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in construction or project coordination.
• Experience supporting project execution and field coordination.
• Exposure to scheduling or subcontractor coordination.
• Working knowledge of BAS, HVAC or electrical systems preferred.
• OSHA 30 certification required or to be completed within first week.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day execution of BAS/controls projects.
• Support development and maintenance of project schedules.
• Review submittals and drawing packages prior to field work.
• Maintain project records and billing support data in DivPro.
• Assist with tracking budgets, change orders and expenses.
• Participate in project meetings and update stakeholders.
