Job summary

Divcon is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support BAS/controls projects from installation through turnover. You will coordinate field activities, maintain documentation, and help manage budgets and schedules under supervision. This role serves as a stepping stone toward full project ownership.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in construction or related coordination, OSHA 30, and strong organizational skills. Travel up to 85% to job sites may be required.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in construction, project coordination, or related field.
• Experience supporting project execution, documentation, or field coordination.
• Exposure to scheduling, subcontractor coordination, or construction processes.
• OSHA 30 certification within the past two years (or training provided).
• Proficiency in MS Office and project management software.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating day-to-day execution of BAS/controls projects to align with designs, schedules, and customer requirements.
• Manage defined scopes of work or smaller projects under supervision.
• Develop and maintain project schedules with milestones and updates.
• Organize contracts, drawings, and specifications; maintain project records.
• Monitor budgets, change orders, and project expenses; support monthly billing.
• Coordinate subcontractors and site technicians; track progress and field conditions.
• Support meetings and communicate updates, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
