Job summary
Carrier's Automated Logic division is seeking a Field Engineer to own turnkey delivery of DDC systems, including installation, commissioning, and diagnostics, across complex building automation projects in Virginia. You will mentor field teams and coordinate with project managers to ensure safe, high-quality delivery.
The role requires travel, adaptability to changing project demands, and deep knowledge of ALC products and ASHRAE guidelines to deliver reliable, high-performance systems for
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 2+ years in Building Automation or HVAC.
- Valid driver's license and insurability.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
- Comfort working at height and with ladders or lifts.
Responsibilities
- Own the install, commissioning, and troubleshooting of DDC systems.
- Provide technical leadership and mentor junior techs.
- Coordinate with Project Managers to manage risk and delivery.
- Travel as needed and adapt to shifting project priorities.
- Demonstrate proficiency with ALC products and ASHRAE guidelines.
- Maintain thorough commissioning logs and progress tracking.
