Job summary

Automated Logic is seeking a Field Engineer to own turn-key project delivery, including installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of DDC systems. You will mentor technicians and act as a trusted advisor to customers, ensuring high-quality outcomes.

Travel will be required as priorities shift; the role demands deep proficiency with ALC products, system architectures, and ASHRAE guidelines to deliver safe, high-performance systems across complex environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 2+ years of professional building automation or HVAC experience.
• Valid driver's license and insurability by the company.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Comfort working above 8 feet and using ladders or lifts.

Responsibilities

• Own install, commissioning, and troubleshooting of DDC systems.
• Lead as the senior resource and mentor for junior techs.
• Partner with Project Managers to manage risk and ensure delivery.
• Travel as needed and stay adaptable to shifting priorities.
• Demonstrate proficiency with ALC products, architectures, and ASHRAE guidelines.
• Maintain expert-level documentation including commissioning logs.
