Job summary

Carrier’s Automated Logic division is seeking a Field Engineer to own the turn‑key delivery of DDC/building automation projects. You will lead installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting while mentoring field technicians and advising customers for reliable outcomes.

The role requires hands‑on expertise with ALC/building systems, willingness to travel, and strong documentation skills. Expect a collaborative, safety‑driven environment with growth opportunities and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

2+ years of professional experience in Building Automation or HVAC.
Must possess a valid, current Driver’s License and be insurable.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
Comfort working at heights and with ladders/motorized lift equipment.
Willingness to travel as project priorities shift.
Strong technical leadership and mentorship for field teams.

Responsibilities

Turn‑Key Delivery: Own the install, commissioning, and troubleshooting of DDC systems.
Technical Leadership: Mentor junior techs and advise customers for high-quality outcomes.
Risk & Coordination: Partner with Project Managers to manage risk and ensure reliable delivery.
Travel & Flexibility: Travel as needed and adapt to shifting priorities.
Proficiency & Growth: Apply deep proficiency with ALC products and ASHRAE guidelines to deliver safe, high‑performance systems.
