Job summary

Automated Logic, a Carrier Company, seeks a Senior Field Engineer to own turn-key project delivery, including install, commissioning, and troubleshooting of DDC systems.

You will mentor junior techs, advise customers, and collaborate with Project Managers to manage risk and ensure high-quality outcomes while traveling as needed.

This role requires proficiency with ALC products and ASHRAE guidelines, plus strong documentation practices.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3+ years in Building Automation, HVAC, or related field.
• Valid driver's license and insurable.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Able to work over 8 feet and use ladders/motorized lifts.

Responsibilities

• Own the install, commissioning, and troubleshooting of DDC systems.
• Deliver full software solutions, including sequencing, graphics, and alarms.
• Mentor junior techs as the lead resource.
• Advise customers to ensure high-quality outcomes.
• Partner with Project Managers to manage risk and execution.
• Coordinate with teams for clear communication and delivery.
• Travel as needed and adapt to shifting priorities.
• Demonstrate proficiency with ALC products and ASHRAE guidelines.
• Maintain proper commissioning logs and documentation.
