Job summary

Carrier, via Automated Logic—a Carrier Company, seeks a Field Engineer to own end‑to‑end turnkey project delivery for building automation. You will lead technical teams, mentor junior technicians, and coordinate with project managers to ensure safe, high‑quality system installations across complex environments.

The role requires deep knowledge of ALC products, building automation, and ASHRAE guidelines, with travel as project priorities shift.

Qualifications

• Leadership and mentorship as a technical authority.
• Turnkey building automation project delivery with minimal oversight.
• Advanced integration and networking with TCP/IP and wireless.
• System troubleshooting of controls, sensors, and software at equipment level.
• Training and documentation for owners/operators with clear site records.

Responsibilities

• Own the install, commissioning, and troubleshooting of DDC systems. Deliver full software solutions, including sequencing, graphics, and alarms.
• Act as the lead resource and mentor for junior techs. Advise customers to ensure high‑quality outcomes.
• Partner with Project Managers to manage risk and align execution. Coordinate to ensure clear communication and reliable delivery.
• Travel as needed and stay adaptable to shifting priorities, project demands, and field workloads.
• Demonstrate deep proficiency with ALC products, system architectures, and ASHRAE guidelines.
• Maintain expert documentation, including commissioning logs and progress tracking.
