Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation is seeking a Field Engineer for our Automated Logic division. You will own turn-key project delivery, from install to commissioning, while mentoring junior technicians and coordinating with project teams.

Travel is required as project priorities shift, with emphasis on safe, high-performance building automation systems. The role demands deep expertise in ALC products, system architectures, and ASHRAE guidelines, plus strong documentation and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of professional Building Automation or HVAC experience.
• Valid driver's license and insurability by carrier.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Comfort working at heights and with ladders/motorized lifts.

Responsibilities

• Turn-key delivery: install, commission, and troubleshoot DDC systems; deliver full software solutions with sequencing, graphics, and alarms.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior technicians and serve as trusted advisor to customers.
• Partner with Project Managers to manage risk and ensure alignment and reliable delivery.
• Travel as needed and remain adaptable to shifting project priorities and field workloads.
• Demonstrate proficiency with ALC products, system architectures, and ASHRAE guidelines to deliver high-performance systems.
• Maintain expert-level project documentation, commissioning logs, and progress tracking for safe delivery.
