Job summary

Snowshoe Mountain in Snowshoe, WV seeks seasonal bartenders to provide beverage service at our on-mountain venues. You will greet guests, mix and garnish drinks, and ensure a positive guest experience in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include preparing and serving beverages, handling payments, stocking the bar, and keeping a clean, well-organized work area. A High School Diploma or GED is required; 1–2 years bar experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Preferred 1–2 years of experience working in a full-service bar.
• Strong customer service and cash handling skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and garnish drinks according to recipes and portion control standards.
• Serve beverages to guests and check IDs to comply with laws and regulations.
• Process payments using the point-of-sale system, handle cash, credit/debit cards, and vouchers.
• Stock and maintain the bar with necessary supplies, including beverages and glassware.
• Manage and store perishable items to ensure product quality.
• Respond professionally to inebriated guests.
• Perform mental math for accurate billing.
