Job summary

Schweitzer is seeking seasonal bar staff at Snowshoe Mountain to prepare and garnish drinks, serve guests, handle the POS system, and keep the bar stocked with supplies.

Starting late November, shifts include early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays. On‑mountain housing is available, and employees enjoy medical benefits, free skiing, a 401(k), and staff discounts on dining and retail.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED and 1–2 years in a full‑service bar.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of work at a full-service bar preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and garnish drinks according to recipes and portion control standards.
• Serve beverages to guests and check IDs to comply with laws and regulations.
• Process payments using the point-of-sale system, handle cash, credit/debit cards, and vouchers.
• Stock and maintain the bar with necessary supplies, including beverages, paper products, and glassware.
• Manage and store perishable items to ensure product quality.
• Respond professionally to inebriated guests and maintain safety.
• Perform mental math for accurate billing.
