Job summary

Alterra Mountain Company seeks seasonal dining staff at Snowshoe Mountain, WV. Engage guests by taking orders, serving meals, and promoting menu specials while providing friendly hospitality in a busy resort setting.

Positions include on-mountain housing options and opportunities to enjoy on-site perks and discounts, with a start date at season's end of November and early December. Previous restaurant experience is preferred and helpful for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in restaurant/guest service preferred.
• Ability to provide excellent guest service and hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent guest service by taking orders and delivering food and drinks on time.
• Recommend dining options by knowledge of menu and specials.
• Assist team in keeping service stations stocked and clean.
• Provide information to guests by being knowledgeable about the resort.
• Verify guests are of legal age before serving alcohol.
• Balance bank and perform end-of-shift closeout reports.
