Job summary

Schweitzer is seeking a seasonal bartender at Snowshoe Mountain in Snowshoe, WV. You will prepare and garnish drinks, serve guests, and handle payments using a POS system while adhering to laws and responsible service guidelines.

This role offers on-mountain housing options, employee perks such as medical benefits, free skiing, 401k, and various discounts, with a base wage of $5 per hour plus tips. Shifts may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays during the season.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of work at a full-service bar preferred.
• Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and garnish drinks according to recipes and portion control standards.
• Serve beverages to guests and check IDs to comply with laws and regulations.
• Process payments using the POS system, handle cash, credit/debit cards, and vouchers.
• Stock and maintain the bar with beverages, paper products, and glassware.
• Manage perishable items to ensure quality.
• Respond professionally to inebriated guests and perform mental math for billing.
