Job summary

Schweitzer Mountain Resort is seeking a seasonal bartender to craft drinks, serve guests, and manage payments on-mountain. You will ensure proper ID checks, stock the bar, and keep perishable items properly stored while delivering friendly hospitality.

The role offers tips, on-site housing options, and varied shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Prior bar experience is preferred for a smoother service flow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of full-service bar experience preferred.
• Ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and garnish drinks according to recipes and portion controls.
• Serve beverages and check IDs to comply with laws and regulations.
• Process payments using a POS system and handle cash/credit transactions.
• Stock and maintain the bar with beverages, paper products, and glassware.
• Manage perishables and respond professionally to intoxicated guests.
