Food City in Alcoa, TN is seeking a Starbucks associate to provide prompt service, quality beverages, and a clean, welcoming store environment. You will take orders, prepare and stock products, and assist customers with recommendations while maintaining Food City standards.

training is provided. Must be 16+; food service experience is a plus but not required. This role supports Food City and the Starbucks partnership in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Food Service/Coffee experience a plus, but not required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Learn how to mix a wide variety of coffee and tea products.
• Learn the ingredients that go into various products.
• Work with various Starbucks ingredients including various coffees, teas, spices, nuts, flavorings, sauces, and oils.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions, perform routine and repetitive tasks and have constant contact/interaction with various levels of individuals on a daily basis.
• Ability to attend on-site work during scheduled shifts to adhere to company time and attendance policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt service to Food City shoppers while maintaining a clean, welcoming environment.
• Take customer orders and ensure accuracy and satisfaction.
• Prepare, bag, pour, and stock Starbucks products; rotate items for quality and safety.
• Operate the POS system to process transactions.
• Adhere to recipe and presentation standards for beverages and foods.
• Promote Food City and Starbucks values with integrity and courtesy.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain equipment in good working order.
