Job summary

Food City in Tennessee is seeking a Starbucks beverages associate to deliver prompt service and high-quality drinks. You will prepare, bag, pour, and stock products while maintaining a clean, welcoming store environment.

Responsibilities include handling transactions, engaging customers with product knowledge, and following all recipes and safety standards. This role offers growth opportunities within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Learn how to mix a wide variety of coffee and tea products.
• Learn the ingredients that go into various products.
• Work with various Starbucks ingredients including coffees, teas, spices, nuts, flavorings, sauces, and oils.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions, perform routine and repetitive tasks and have constant contact/interaction with various levels of individuals on a daily basis.
• Ability to attend on-site work during scheduled shifts to adhere to company time and attendance policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt service and quality beverages to Food City shoppers.
• Take customer orders, ensure timely completion and satisfaction.
• Prepare, bag, pour, and stock Starbucks products with proper quality and safety.
• Maintain a positive, friendly attitude toward customers and teammates.
• Engage with customers, sharing product information and samples when appropriate.
• Process cash register transactions using the POS system.
• Deliver consistent beverages and food items following recipes and presentation standards.
• Uphold Food City and Starbucks culture, values, and mission.
• Operate equipment safely and follow routine procedures.
• Follow Food City food safety procedures and attendance policies.
