Food City is hiring a Starbucks associate to deliver prompt service, quality beverages, and a clean store environment. You will take orders, prepare a variety of coffee and tea products, stock items, and maintain safety and food-handling standards.

The role emphasizes friendly customer interaction and adherence to Food City and Starbucks standards. Applicants should be 16+, with or without prior coffee experience.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Food Service/Coffee experience a plus, but not required.
• Learn how to mix a wide variety of coffee and tea products.
• Learn the ingredients that go into various products.
• Work with various Starbucks ingredients including coffees, teas, spices, nuts, flavorings, sauces, and oils.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions, perform routine and repetitive tasks and have constant contact with various levels of individuals on a daily basis.
• Ability to attend on-site work during scheduled shifts to adhere to company time and attendance policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt service and maintain a clean, welcoming environment.
• Take customer orders and ensure timely fulfillment to satisfaction.
• Prepare, bag, pour, and stock Starbucks products while rotating items for quality and safety.
• Maintain a positive attitude with customers and coworkers.
• Engage with customers, share product information, and use suggestive selling techniques.
