Job summary

Food City in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, invites you to join our team as a Starbucks beverage associate. You will deliver prompt service, craft quality beverages, stock products, and maintain a clean, welcoming store environment.

You will engage customers, share product knowledge, follow recipes, and operate the POS to complete transactions while upholding Food City's values and safety standards. Experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Food Service/coffee experience a plus, but not required.
• Learn how to mix a wide variety of coffee and tea products.
• Learn the ingredients that go into various products.
• Work with various Starbucks ingredients including coffees, teas, spices, nuts, flavorings, sauces, and oils.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions, perform routine and repetitive tasks and have constant contact/interaction with various levels of individuals on a daily basis.
• Ability to attend on-site work during scheduled shifts to adhere to company time and attendance policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt service and maintain a clean, welcoming environment.
• Take customer orders and ensure completion to customer satisfaction.
• Prepare, bag, pour, and stock Starbucks products and rotate items for quality and safety.
• Maintain a positive attitude with customers and associates.
• Engage customers with product information and suggestive selling.
• Process cash register transactions using the POS system.
• Deliver quality beverages and food items by adhering to recipes and presentation standards.
• Operate with integrity and promote Food City and Starbucks values and mission.
