Job summary

Snowshoe Mountain Resort is seeking a Barback for the winter season. This on-site role requires available shifts that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Start date is late November to early December with housing options on-mountain for staff.

Responsibilities include stocking and replenishing bar supplies, maintaining cleanliness, assisting bartenders, and ensuring smooth service. Education: high school diploma or GED; previous restaurant experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Previous restaurant/bar experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stock beer coolers, liquor, mixers, garnishes, ice bins, glassware, napkins, and other bar supplies.
• Replenish inventory throughout shifts to ensure uninterrupted service.
• Remove trash, recyclables, and empty containers from bar areas.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment.
• Assist bartenders with opening, operating, and closing procedures.
• Wash and polish glassware as needed.
• Restock service areas and storage locations.
• Deliver supplies and products from storage areas to the bar.
• Respond promptly to bartender and supervisor requests.
• Maintain professional appearance and grooming standards.
• Follow all company safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
• Support team members and contribute to a positive guest and employee experience.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support resort operations and guest service objectives.
