Job summary

Pueblo of Sandia is seeking a Banquet Server to deliver exceptional service during banquet events, conferences, and special occasions in Albuquerque, NM. You will ensure timely service, assist with setting up rooms, and maintain a clean, organized banquet area.

Qualifications

• Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work with a sense of urgency.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to lift and balance heavy trays with food above the shoulder.

Responsibilities

• Serve at Food and Beverage functions in accordance with Banquet Event Orders and Banquet Service policies.
• Provide friendly, professional and timely service to guests from greeting to seating and throughout the event.
• Stock service areas with supplies such as coffee, food, tableware, and linens.
• Bus and clear tables; reset banquet rooms for the next event as instructed.
• Participate in daily stand-up meetings and complete computer-based training as required.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization; return equipment to proper storage.
