Job summary

The Pueblo of Sandia is seeking a kitchen team member to support all restaurant operations, food preparation, and presentation. Under general supervision, you will follow recipes, set up hot and cold lines, ensure proper temperatures, and maintain cleanliness of the kitchen including walk-in, freezer and dry storage.

You will participate in training, adhere to safety and sanitation standards, rotate stock, and work with a cooperative team to deliver quality meals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in restaurant or food service.
• NM Food Handlers course to be completed upon hire.
• Must pass background check and pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and preparation of menus and food setup.
• Serve hot and cold foods, ensure proper portions and temperatures.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness (walk-in, freezer, dry storage) and uphold sanitation standards.
• Attend to equipment and supply issues and participate in training of staff.
