Job summary

The Pueblo of Sandia in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Hotel Sales Manager to solicit, propose and contract group, convention center and catering events. You will drive revenue across sleeping rooms, daily rate, food and beverage, AV and guest satisfaction while coordinating with hotel operations to ensure flawless execution of Banquet Event Orders and service delivery.

• Solicit and qualify new business in assigned market and respond to opportunities within 24 hours.
• Set and monitor SMART quarterly action plans; ensure accurate turnover to Conventions Services.
• Develop client relationships and communicate needs to operations; coordinate site tours and vendor relations.
• Participate in sales blitzes, industry events and trade shows to maximize hotel sales and revenue.
• Negotiate space, revenue commitments, rates and room blocks; maintain client databases.
