Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino Lake Tahoe is seeking an attentive server to deliver prompt, friendly dining experiences. You will greet guests, assist with seating, and maintain impeccable service standards across tables while promoting menu items and special promotions.

Requirements include 2+ years in a busy dining environment, 21+ age, and strong English communication skills. The position is on-site with tipping potential and advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• 21+ years old
• Health and Alcohol cards required
• 2+ years in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant
• Great people skills and professional appearance
• Ability to work varied shifts
• Capable of carrying heavy trays efficiently and securely
• Thorough knowledge of proper service and etiquette
• Must read, write, speak and understand English

Responsibilities

• Greet guests within 45 seconds and place beverage napkins.
• Escort guests, pull out chairs, and ensure guest rights of way.
• Carry heavy trays securely using jack-stands as needed.
• Time the guests’ experience per timing guidelines to optimize satisfaction.
• Deliver food and beverages to tables and clear them per procedures.
• Provide knowledge of menus and plate specs to enhance guest experience and upsell items.
• Maintain clean, framed tabletops and ensure proper supplies for dining.
• Deliver checks and cash out guests promptly.
• Support team and management to ensure high-quality service.
• Adhere to policies, procedures, and dress code.
