Job summary

Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino Lake Tahoe is seeking a Banquet Bartender to serve beverages and deliver exceptional guest experiences at high-profile events. You will set up banquet spaces, manage event timelines, and respond to guest needs with a courteous, safety-minded approach.

The role requires 1 year of food service experience (banquets preferred), ability to communicate clearly in English, and flexibility across shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 21 years old.
• 1 year prior food service experience preferred, Banquets.
• Must be able to speak and understand English.
• Understanding of basic room diagrams for station setups and seating charts.

Responsibilities

• Assist and prepare in set-up of the banquet area prior to guest arrival to ensure room design is executed correctly.
• Maintain timeline of events to ensure seamless service.
• Anticipate guests' service needs and act on preferences.
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies for food and beverages.
• Follow all state and local laws for serving alcohol responsibly.
• Maintain cleanliness and condition of stations, tables, and tools.
• Maintain knowledge of daily scheduled group functions and room locations.
