Job summary

Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino Lake Tahoe is seeking a Host/Hostess to greet guests as they enter the outlet, seat them, and provide menus with a high level of personalized service that reflects the brand values.

Responsibilities include answering calls, taking reservations, assisting servers, maintaining a clean work area, and supporting to-go orders in a fast-paced dining environment.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Experience preferred but will train willing individual.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly manner.
• Seat guests and provide menus.
• Answering phone calls and take reservations as needed.
• Knowledge of menu items.
• Attends pre-shift meetings.
• Maintains uniform appearance.
• Welcomes guests and serves water.
• Assists Food Server as needed.
• Keeps work area neat, clean and safe.
• Turn-over/Takes-over station as per procedure.
• Assist with to-go orders.
• Sort, polish and roll up silverware.
• Complete special projects as requested by Food & Beverage management.
