Job summary

Chateau Elan Winery & Resort in Braselton, GA, part of HEI Hotels & Resorts, seeks a Banquet Manager to supervise daily banquet operations, ensure quality service, and uphold SOPs. You will lead banquet associates, manage setup, and coordinate with clients for flawless events.

Ideal candidate will have 2+ years post-secondary education, hotel/banquet experience, knowledge of F&B services, budgeting, payroll, and strong leadership. This full-time role offers comprehensive benefits within HEI.

Qualifications

• More than two years of post-high school education.
• Experience 1–2 years in a related role with this company or another.
• Hotel experience preferred.
• Knowledge of HEI banquet/catering food and beverage services, policies or operations.
• Knowledge of computer equipment.
• Ability to compile facts and figures per procedures.
• Team player willing to pitch-in with colleagues.
• Knowledge of hotel operations including budgets and planning.
• Leadership to motivate staff and achieve goals.
• Ability to set priorities, plan, organize and delegate.
• Ability to work under time constraints and deadlines.
• Strong verbal/written communication; adapt to audiences.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct the Banquet associates including captains, servers, lead housemen, and housemen.
• Interview, hire recommendations, scheduling, training, development, coaching and performance reviews.
• Oversee daily Banquet operations to ensure service quality, safety, and SOP compliance.
• Meet clients to review Banquet Event Orders and address changes or issues.
• Calculate and review Banquet checks for accuracy and collect signatures for payment.
• Prepare daily service charges and payroll with accurate reporting to Accounting.
• Monitor maintenance and sanitation of Banquet areas and equipment.
• Adhere to attendance rules and be available regularly.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
