Job summary

Yaamava' Resort & Casino at San Manuel is seeking an Assistant Manager, Banquet to lead strategic banquet services for internal and external events, ensuring guest and team satisfaction and adherence to Food & Beverage standards.

The role oversees banquet staff, coordinates event details, supports sales planning and forecasting, manages costs and inventory, and ensures policy compliance while driving profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality or related field is required.
• 3+ years in Banquet, Catering, Event Management or Food & Beverage in hospitality required.
• 2+ years in a supervisory role in Banquet, Catering or Event Management preferred.
• Related experience may substitute for education as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day banquet services operations.
• Ensure event details, staffing and menus are communicated clearly.
• Assist in data collection for strategic sales planning, monthly reports, and forecasts; help build sales and profitability.
• Assist in ordering supplies and uniforms; monitor inventory and adjust as needed.
• Oversee daily banquet shift operations and compliance with F&B policies.
