Job summary

Yaamava Resort & Casino at San Manuel is seeking an Assistant Manager, Banquet to provide strategic leadership for banquet services across internal and external events. You will guide the team to deliver exceptional guest experiences while aligning with F&B standards and initiatives.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Hospitality, 3+ years in banquet/event management, and 2+ years in supervision. Strong MS Office skills and a customer-focused leadership style are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality or related field is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of banquet, catering, event management or Food & Beverage experience in hospitality.
• Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role in banquet, catering or event management preferred.
• Related experience may be considered in lieu of education.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day banquet services operations per policies and procedures.
• Ensure event details, staffing and menus are clearly communicated and coordinated efficiently.
• Support data gathering for strategic sales planning, monthly reports, annual goals and forecasts; manage costs and inventory.
• Assist in ordering supplies and uniforms; monitor inventory and adjust accordingly.
• Oversee daily banquet shift operations and ensure compliance with F&B policies, standards, and procedures.
• Supervise staffing levels to meet guest service, operational and financial objectives.
