HHM Hotels is seeking a Director of Banquets to oversee the banquet department for a property with 500+ rooms. You will lead event service, ensure guest specifications are met, and coordinate with the catering team to maintain seamless functions.

The role requires 3–5 years of banquet experience and a bachelor’s degree (preferred). Expect varied shifts, holiday coverage, and strict adherence to safety, SOX controls, and cash handling policies.

Qualificações

• 3–5 years Banquet experience required.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Interview, hire, train staff and evaluate performance.
• Maintain guest relationships and ensure banquet functions meet specifications.
• Coordinate with catering to address service gaps and ensure timely set-up and service.
• Oversee set-up and cleanliness of function rooms and inventory.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and cash handling policies in serving beverages.
• Enter billing information into POS system and generate final guest checks.
• Monitor staff attendance and reassign stations to maintain quality service.
• Establish and train on service standards through ongoing staff meetings.
• Follow safety procedures and OSHA/MSDS guidelines.
