Job summary

HHM Hotels is seeking a Banquet Manager to oversee banquet department operations and ensure guest satisfaction and sustainability standards are met.

You will lead event set-ups, supervise serving staff, coordinate with the catering team, and enforce safety, cash handling, and SOX compliance while delivering high-quality service during functions. This role requires flexibility for holidays and weekends and a strong focus on guest relations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3 to 5 years Banquet experience required.

Responsibilities

• Interview, hire, train, evaluate staff and address discipline when needed.
• Manage banquet operations and ensure guest specifications are met.
• Coordinate with catering to address service gaps.
• Supervise setup of function rooms for cleanliness and inventory.
• Oversee alcohol service in compliance with regulations.
• Ensure cash handling policies and SOX compliance.
• Enter billing into POS system.
• Monitor attendance and adjust staff to maintain service quality.
• Provide ongoing training to uphold service standards.
• Follow safety practices as per MSDS and OSHA.
• Perform other duties as requested.
