Job summary

Maggiano's Little Italy is seeking an Event Manager to plan, coordinate, and flawlessly execute banquet events. You will own all event details after booking, from room setups to timelines and staffing, ensuring guest expectations are met and events run on time.

You will collaborate with Sales, Culinary, and Leadership teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences, lead banquet teams, and manage operational standards across all events.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in hotel, catering, or banquet operations required
• Experience leading event execution and service teams
• Strong knowledge of banquet service standards and room setups
• Ability to read and execute BEOs, layouts, and event contracts
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent guest-service and conflict-resolution skills
• Proficiency with banquet systems, CRM, or event software
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Own all event details from booking to on-site execution.
• Review contracts, BEOs, and notes for accuracy.
• Create timelines, layouts, seating, and room assignments.
• Coordinate menu selections and dietary needs.
• Schedule banquet staff based on event size.
• Lead day-of execution and on-site host liaison.
• Conduct pre-event meetings with teams.
