Job summary

Maggiano's Little Italy is seeking an Event Manager in the United States to plan, coordinate, and flawlessly execute banquet events from handoff to completion. You will lead room setups, timelines, staff, menus, and guest experience, partnering with Sales, Culinary, and Leadership teams to ensure each event meets our standards.

This on-site role requires hands-on leadership, strong organizational skills, and flexibility to work nights or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in hotel, catering, or banquet ops.
• Experience leading event execution and service teams.
• Knowledge of banquet service standards and room setups.
• Ability to read and execute BEOs, layouts, and contracts.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills in fast-paced environment.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent guest-service and conflict-resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Own all event details post-booking including timelines and layouts.
• Coordinate menu selections and dietary needs.
• Schedule banquet staff according to event size.
• Lead day-of execution and on-site host contact.
• Develop and enforce SOPs for banquet service.
• Monitor profitability through labor and food cost.
• Review event performance and guest feedback.
• Collaborate with Sales, Culinary, and Leadership teams.
• Maintain banquet systems and event documentation.
