Job summary

Maggiano's Little Italy is seeking an Event Manager to plan, coordinate and flawlessly execute banquet events from handoff through completion. You will manage room setup, seating, timelines, staffing, and menu arrangements, partnering with Sales, Culinary, and Leadership teams to deliver outstanding guest experiences.

Responsibilities include pre-event briefings, maintaining SOPs, hiring and coaching staff, and ensuring on-time delivery and service excellence while tracking KPIs and guest

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in hotel, catering, or banquet operations required.
• Strong guest-service and conflict-resolution skills.
• Able to read and execute BEOs, layouts, and event contracts.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute banquet events end-to-end, including room setup and seating plans.
• Coordinate menus, dietary needs, and service styles.
• Lead on-site day-of event execution and coordinate staff.
• Review contracts, BEOs, and event notes for accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain inventory and ensure proper room setup per diagrams.
